Aspen is getting to the age where his swing and bouncy chair just aren't cutting it.
He is B-O-R-E-D. The little dude needed something to play with. He has mastered tummy time, but he needed a saucer.
The problem: Kids ain't cheap. And this was no exception. Saucer-like-play-things range from $60-120 bucks. Talk about a punch to the kidney. Now there is no way I would spend that much money on a kid who grows faster than mold on bread.
Well, thank GOODness for GOODWILL. I have no shame in thrifting.. especially when I find a gem like this for $7.00!
I spent over an hour disassembling, laundering and bleaching this bad boy but all the hard work paid off.
What I don't understand is how parents spend so much money on their children? Kids don't know if it was used or not. From my experience, when a lady bug lights up and plays Beethoven's 9th Symphony... they could care less if it has the new plastic smell.
