cooking: parsley garlic marinated steak

to finish off our new years celebration, i made a garlic and parsley marinated steak
to make your own marinade you use three main ingredients:
olive oil, vinegar and your spices
you make the base of the marinade which is 1.5 cups of olive oil and a 1/3 a cup of vinegar
then you add your spices
i added salt, pepper, parsley and fresh garlic
but if you wanted to make something different, this is where you make it happen!
place your meat in a shallow pan and pour the marinade over the meat
refrigerate for at least 1 hour
making sure to flip the meat so both sides soak up the goodness!
to cook, i used my grill pan
which was a present from my favorite mentor teacher!
i made a t-bone steak, which was one honking piece of meat
craig and i obviously shared this...
even though i did buy two of steaks
'just in case'
{ i have the appetite of a man in this house! }
but this steak paired with our lobster was a winning combination!
