in our new house we have this awkward powder room
it messes with my head... there are so many colors going on.
brown mirror and light fixture, black counter tops and a silver faucet?
who designed this???
and not to mention we have a great view of our neighbors... while sitting on the toilet.
it makes me want to stop what i am doing to wave.
well i decided to take a shower curtain and turn it into a window panel. pretty basic and easy.
this bad boy is from urban outfitters.
they have great style for an indie kinda feel and the prices are 'pretty' reasonable
and when i say pretty reasonable i mean its pretty and then reasonable.
it's not ikea cheap... but cheaper than it's sister store- anthropologie.
i love the vintage vibe and figured that it would blend all the confusing colors in the room together
i measured the length of the window, hemmed three sides making sure to leave a slit on the top for the curtain rod and viola-
instant shabby chic!
and because the window is tiny, i had tons of extra fabric to sew some matching hand towels
not bad for a mini-bathroom makeover!
any small changes you are making around your house?
