cooking: pesto cream pasta

i never ate pesto until i met craig
and that is where this love story begins
i wanted to make a quick and delish dinner using our favorite condiment
begin by seasoning your chicken breasts with salt, pepper and some fresh oregano
place in pan with some olive oil and cook through
when done, set chicken aside and using the same pan begin making sauce for your pasta
add one quart of half and half
add about a third a cup of pesto
stir and reduce
cook your pasta according to the directions
i used mini bow ties
add your al dente pasta to the sauce and mix
after letting your chicken rest, slice
add some freshly shredded parmesean cheese
garnish with a fresh oregano flower
the simple chicken was a great accompaniment to the flavorful pasta
